Nizami Potatoes |
Sizzling crispy potatoes tossed in spicy masala…This Hyderabadi dish can be described as delightfully delicious snack.
Ingredients |
01. Potatoes - 2 02. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp 03. Dried raw mango powder (amchoor) - 1 tsp 04. Chaat masala - 1 tsp 05. Salt - to taste 06. Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tsp 07. Sesame seeds (ellu) - 1 tsp 08. Ghee - 1 tsp |
Preparation |
01. Half boil the potatoes with the skin on. 02. Slice the potatoes long and deep fry them with the skin till they turn crisp. 03. Combine the red chilli powder, dry raw mango powder, chaat masala, salt, coriander leaves and sesame. Now add the fried potatoes to this mix and turn over so that the masala blends well with the potao slices. 04. Arrange the mix on the sides of a deep bottom pan with lid and place a small bowl of hot crackling coal in the centre. 05. Pour ghee over the hot coal and immediately close the pan. 06. Open the pan after 10 minutes, stir the potato mix once more and serve sizzling hot with thick curd or dates chutney. |
